The cornflakes diet is a rather radical and obscure way of losing weight since it entails eating a breakfast food all day long. Going on the cornflakes diet is a challenge since there isn’t much variety to it. You can probably add fruits and nuts to it but other than those, there’s not much you can do to make it interesting.

It may not be a good idea to add meat in your bowl but maybe a scoop of protein powder will give you sufficient nourishment.

When it comes to cornflake recipes, there are bunches you can choose from. You can try mixing cornflakes with different kinds of cereal to change the taste. You can also add yogurt in it or chocolate milk. Moreover, you can mix it in with oatmeal and milk. Grains and nuts are also a good match with cornflakes. However, you can also try making cornflakes and oatmeal cookies or cornflakes-battered fried chicken. You must not restrict yourself to just eating cornflakes with milk. Muffins and cakes can be made using cornflake as well.
One tip you must keep in mind while you are on the cornflakes diet is to compliment it with a fruit or a piece of toast and meat. You cannot simply live on cornflakes for a week. This will make you even weaker and possibly ill. You can treat a bowl of cornflakes as a dessert with bigger portions. The meat and carbohydrates will be the add-ons in your meal. Do not load up on carbonated drinks and alcohol while you are doing this since it can cause an upset stomach. If you are starting to feel sick, you must immediately stop the diet.
Difficulty level
The type of diet is difficult in the sense that it will be tedious and your taste buds will become numb. You will have to deal with the monotonous routine of eating cornflakes and you will probably want to give up after a few days. But if you don’t want to try complicated diets like the South Beach and Atkin’s this may be worth the try. All you need to remember is that you only need to do it for a week since it is just a short-term diet. Afterwards, you will see your weight decrease considerably.
